I am an Alabama native who began my 20 year career on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, where I served as a Legislative Aide to a US Senator and a member of the US House of Representatives. In 2003, I moved to Charleston, and began consulting in the defense industry for a Fortune 500 company. I spent that time sharpening my expertise in project management, financial analysis, and marketing- skills I find very helpful in my real estate career. I earned a reputation as a hardworking, dedicated, dependable, and honest consultant and quickly became a go-to in in the consulting arena. A handful of years, 3 children, 4 dogs (not at the same time!), and a cat later, I decided to take the leap into my longtime passion for real estate and joined switched careers. I am now an independent agent associated with Keller Williams and use the experience I gained in as a consultant to assist my real estate clients. As a transplant to the Charleston area, I recall looking for a home in the early days of the digital MLS- driving in and out of neighborhoods to see it was a fit for our family and then calling my realtor to see if the homes fit in our price range. I know how daunting it can be to move to a new town and be unfamiliar with the area, and I am eager to help ease that transition for homebuyers. I have a Bachelor of Arts and am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Alabama. I am an active member of Grace Church Cathedral in downtown Charleston. When I am not nose deep in the MLS or showing clients houses, I can often be found carting children to various activities and trying to carve out time to volunteer in their schools. My passions are all things real estate, but mostly spending time with my family. We love to travel- but haven't done much of it. I hope to one day show them the world. For fun, I play soccer and volleyball mom from the sidelines, but I really enjoy wielding a saw while tackling home improvement projects, losing myself in a novel, refinishing furniture most people would throw away, and obnoxiously cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
